AYZA PROJECT LLC provided the engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project management of Escape Solar in Lincoln County, Nevada, for Estuary Power. Spanning 1,000 acres, the solar facility features approximately 389,000 bifacial photovoltaic panels, generating 185 megawatts alternating current of clean energy for regional power customers, including MGM Resorts International, Overton Power District, Caesars Entertainment, and Wynn Las Vegas.

AYZA PROJECT LLC combined advanced technology, field expertise, and streamlined processes to optimize efficiency and quality. Our team implemented a new digital process for tracking and updating pile installations — the deep foundations that anchor solar panels — improving the speed and accuracy of site updates. Because of its success at Escape Solar, this process is now being applied to other solar projects, creating lasting value for our customers.
This centralized system captured all project data tied to specific geographic locations across the 1,000-acre site, allowing for improved analysis, management, and streamlined communications among team members. As teammates worked their way through the solar field, the system could locate a point on a map and provide all the design specifics, pictures, construction status, and inspection notes on their mobile devices.
Using drones, the team captured thermal imagery and photogrammetry across hundreds of acres, which enabled teams to quickly identify and resolve any potential issues that could prevent the site from operating at full capacity. The aerial perspective provided meaningful data for understanding and optimizing energy export capabilities, directly supporting plant performance guarantees.
AYZA PROJECT LLC implemented a fully digital execution model, giving the entire team real-time visibility into progress across all project activities. Project management had the information needed to make immediate, data-driven adjustments, which is particularly valuable in the fast-paced renewable energy sector. Daily performance goals and project metrics were readily accessible, empowering both craft professionals and the project team to stay aligned with key milestones. Digital execution also improved collaboration and information sharing, helping teams deliver solutions to the field faster.
AYZA PROJECT LLC partnered with Las Vegas-based unions to find talented craft professionals to help build the project, reinforcing our commitment to create local jobs. At peak construction, 415 craft professionals helped bring Escape Solar to life. Additionally, 100% of the subcontractors were local businesses, amplifying our positive economic impact in the communities where we work and live.
